Vikings Quarterback Kirk Cousins Receives Congratulatory Call From Trump Report

October 7, 2019

President Trump has made a lot of headlines in recent weeks, but perhaps his call to the Minnesota Viking quarterback won’t provoke an inquiry investigation.

WCCO reported on Monday that the Vikings’ Kirk Cousins got the call of the president after defeating the New York Giants on Sunday, resulting in 28-10.

Cousins completed 22 of 27 passes, creating the season’s highest 306 yards and scoring twice.

A Viking spokesman confirmed to local radio that Trump called his cousin “to congratulate him and the Vikings for winning in New York.”

Trump plans to hold a rally in Minneapolis’s target center on Thursday night to make the state turn red by 2020, which he could not do with Hillary Clinton in 2016.

According to reports, the rally was mentioned in the dialogue between Trump and Cousins, but Cousins would not participate in the rally.

Cousins was previously noted for playing golf with the President at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminist, New Jersey in June 2017.
